This article guides you in identifying and fixing a leak on a 1” dual disc valve head.
Where is the source of the leak?
Resin Tank Connection
1. Bypass the unit, depressurize, and disconnect the black C-clips from the bypass assembly.
2. Remove the Valve Head by unclipping the retaining clamps near the neck of the resin tank.
3. Check for any damage to the resin tank neck. Replace the three Distributor O-rings between the valve head and resin tank.
4. Secure the valve head, retaining clamps, and c-clips. Restore water flow to the unit and watch for leaks.
End Cap Connection
1. Bypass the unit and carefully remove the retaining clamps, clips, and end caps (#1 and 14) to access the internal seals.
2. Replace the o-rings. Replace 2, 3, 12, and 13 (pictured). Reassemble valve head, turn water on, and check for leaks.
