A system flush is a part of the regular routine maintenance for the eflow. In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to perform a flush.
Flushing the System
The eflow system should be flushed during the initial installation of the system or after the RO membrane cartridge has been replaced. Below are the steps to perform a system flush.
1. Open the RO faucet and let the water flow through the system for 1 hour.
2. After 1 hour of continuous flow, the system will go into a fail-safe mode and shut off the booster pump.
Note: you will hear beeping and see lights flashing on the display plan during the fail-safe mode.
3. Clear the system fail-safe mode by pressing the reset buttons in the following sequence: CTO, RO, GAC (top to bottom on the display panel).
4. Allow another hour of continuous flow for a total flush time of 2 hours.
5. Repeat step 3 to clear the fail-safe mode once more.
6. Close the RO faucet – the eflow is ready for use!
