The EcoWater Systems ERO385 (all models) have the option of using the standard blue flow control or the High recovery flow restrictor. The flow control inserts regulate the drain (process water) to product water or the process/drain water ratio.
High Recovery Flow Control
When using the high recovery flow restrictor soft water, higher feed water pressure and lower TDS, the flow control regulates the flow of drain water, maintaining an acceptable rejection rate making the unit attain almost a 1/1 process water to product water ratio.
Application
Some parameters that help determine which flow control to use:
- Soft or hard water feed water
- Reverse Osmosis feed water pressure – low or high
- TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) of the feed water low to high
