The rotor and seals are housed inside the tank filter’s main valve head. This article describes and illustrates how to replace the seal kit on both 1” single disc and dual disc valves.
1" Single Disc - AIV / EIV / PF
1. Bypass the unit and carefully remove the valve cover.
2. Replace the seal kit and rotor. Reassemble the valve, turn water on, and check for leaks.
1" Dual Disc - ECCWS
1. Bypass the unit and carefully remove the retaining clamps, clips, and end caps (#1 and 14) to access the internal seals.
2. Replace with new parts from the Disc kit: numbered below 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 13. Then reassemble the valve head.
3. Once finished, turn the water on and check for leaks.
