Did the homeowner's softener lose connection to the WIFI? Maybe they changed their password, changed their router/modem, or maybe even their internet provider. Follow the steps below to get the system reconnected!
It's really the same process as when the softener was first connected. You won't need to delete the old connection off the app. The app will show one connection once it has been reestablished.
1. Login to the Hydrolink™ Home app and select 'Add a device'.
2. Next, you should see the steps on how to access the wireless set up on the unit. Make sure the unit in the WIFI setup mode then on your phone select 'Setup Device.'
3. The app will find the system, select 'Yes' once it's been identified.
4. You'll need to enter in the homeowner's email address that they created their account with. Then select 'Setup for User.'
5. Now select your WIFI and enter in your password. Then select 'Connect device to network'.
6. Once that's completed, fill out the information on the next screen and click 'Save and Continue'.
7. Next you'll be prompted to configure the display units, select the settings, and set up alert preferences (for you as the Dealer). It's recommended you select all alerts for email as this will notify your dealership when an alert occurs for a connected device. Fill out the information and select 'Save and Configure' when finished.
8. Now the device is set up. You'll know the device has successfully connected when you see this screen of the unit. Note: The DSN number is also the serial number of the unit.
