The Water Leak Warning Light indicates that a leak may have been detected within the eflow. There are a few considerations for troubleshooting this type of alert.
Why Does This Alert Trigger?
There is a sensor underneath the bottom panel of the eflow. When this sensor becomes wet, a buzzer will sound, the Water Leak Warning Light will illuminate, and the pump will stop working until resolved.
Addressing a Potential Leak
Below are some simple steps to follow to determine if there is a leak and how to resolve it.
- Remove the side magnetic panel.
- Inspect where the filters screw into the unit for any leaks.
- If a leak was found:
- Lubricate and replace the O-rings for the impacted filter(s). Or replace the filter entirely.
- If a leak was found:
- Inspect all push-to-connect fittings for leaks and ensure they are properly inserted and seated.
- Once the source of the leak has been addressed, or if no leak was found, ensure that the sensor is dry to clear the alert. To do this:
- Remove the circular cover on the bottom panel of the unit by pulling up on the tab.
- Pull the senor out and shake off any water and allow it to dry. Do not unplug the sensor.
- Once dry, reinsert the senor and place the unit back into the desired location.
5. If there is no leak, and the sensor is dry, and you still receive the Water Leak Warning Light indicator, we recommend replacing the eflow Core from the EcoWater Systems Order Site.
