This article guides you in identifying and fixing a leak on a 1” single disc valve head.
Where is the source of the leak?
Resin Tank Connection
1. Bypass the unit, depressurize, and disconnect the black C-clips from the bypass assembly.
2. Remove the Valve Head by unclipping the retaining clamps from the tank neck.
3. Check for any damage to the resin tank neck. Replace the three Distributor O-rings between the valve head and resin tank.
4. Secure the valve head, retaining clamps, and c-clips. Restore water flow to the unit and watch for leaks.
Valve Cover Connection
1. Bypass the unit and carefully remove the valve cover.
2. Replace the seal kit and rotor. Reassemble the valve, turn water on, and check for leaks.
